Event Musings: Book Club!

Hello everyone! We really hope that you all are doing very well! Thank you so much to everyone who joined us at our first Book Club of Hilary Term! We had a terrific time meeting you all and having awesome discussions together! Reflecting on the event is our wonderful Cultural Secretary, Taro, and please find below a few words from him!:

“There was a great enthusiasm from everyone on the cohort. Everyone spoke at least a few times to share their reflections on the readings, and we connected really well each other. The reading list for this virtual meeting was chosen well (and easily accessible online), so there were a lot to discuss in terms of theme, metaphors, character development, and plot. I thought a 'break-rooms' function in Zoom might be useful to break people into smaller groups, but this turned out necessary for the size of people we had for the meeting (14 people). “ - Taro Kobayashi, Clarendon Council Cultural Secretary.
